Küstenstrasse 1 | Hwy 1

Living, Travel

From San Francisco to Monterey and on to Big Sur before we turned inland. Of course, we also did the 17-Mile Drive, Pebble Beach. Kind of funny to see all the seals on the rocks making lots of noise. Unless you have opted to drive Highway 1, this meant no turn or detour for at least 30miles along the coast – serpentine up and down … wasn’t like a roller coaster but felt like.

We also found a great food place – OMG, do these guys only think about food???. No we don’t but we always like to highlight good place we have been. So The Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur, locted at the top of a hill,  is a place to stop by or have a longer rest.
